"Brick of Saint Spyridon" pendant dedicated to Spyridon, Bishop of Trimythous, a marvelous philanthropist, is a unique jewelry item awarded with a passport by the supreme expert board. His wonders are many-sided!
Saint Spyridon, Bishop of Trimythous is a patron of Orthodox Church. His holiness was indisputable during his life, whereas his wonders take place even today. In the year 325 at the 1st Ecumenical Council Saint Spyridon clearly proved the Unity of the Blessed Trinity to heretics. This event from his life if called "the brick incident". He took a brick in his hand and squeezed it: flame burst out from it upwards, water dripped on the ground, and only clay remained in his hand. "These are three elements, but a single brick, and so the God is One and Only". Therefore this item is brick-shaped. A prayer (song of praise about the Saint's wonders) is inscribed around the pendant's perimeter.
Spyridon of Trimythous became a miracle-worker during his life: he justified wrongfully convicted people, drew rives apart like Moses, healed the sick and even resurrected the dead. Angels sang to him in an empty temple. "A miracle of gold" should be mentioned separately. Once a hard-working farmer appealed to him and complained of lack of money. Spyridon turned a snake into a bar of gold and gave it to the farmer in need. People still appeal to Spyridon when they look for jobs and purchase real estate. Therefore John of Kronstadt used to say: "If we prayed to Saint Spyridon of Trimythous, we would all have a place to live". We pray to him for a house, healing, children and protection.
